The heart of Starline Bio-Fireplaces® is a Bio-Ethanol® burner.
Bio-Ethanol is almost pure alcohol, resulting from the distillation of beet.
The burner allows you to regulate the height of the flame, adjust the heat intensity as well as extinguish the fire completely. The heat output of our fires ranges from 4 to approximately 6 KW making them extremely effective heating appliances.
Our fires can heat a 450-630 square feet room in just a matter of minutes. The effect can be felt almost immediately. After a few moments the flames reach a height of about 11.8", turn orange and give the effect of flames from a real log fire.
One litre of Bio-Ethanol® produces 7.16 KW. Fuel consumption is very reasonable. Our fires consume on average approximately 20 litres of Bio-Ethanol® per month.
One great advantage of Bio-Fireplaces® is that they are ideal providers of supplementary heating, whether in winter or between seasons. On a cold and dark evening you’ll just want to put your feet up and light the fire. It is also an excellent source of heat during power-cuts, being entirely independent of any other source of energy such as gas or electricity
The burner can hold 5 liters or 2.5 liters.
